As to your inquiring about the 'Medicine Cards', these are a shamanic tool to derive information about yourself and others. They are also refereed to as 'Animal Spirit Cards'. The basic understanding of energy, spirit, and characteristics that are contained in the fifty-two (52) animal cards, give a profound insight into our human nature and purpose in how we are living our life, "... walking the red road or Earth walk".
